We visited this place on 2 separate and totally different occasions. The first time it was supposedly for a 'quick bite'; but we ended up having a full pasta meal along with the Lebanese bottle of wine shown in the pictures. We loved it so much, that in less then 2 weeks we organised a family activity here. The service is very helpful & friendly. The food was super delicious and the place is beautiful regardless whether it is on a sunny day or during a rainy evening. Unfortunately on our 2nd visit they didn't have the same wine, which was a pity. However we were helped to choose a good alternative instead. From a constructive point, dessert wass a bit restrictive - imqaret & a few cakes only. Nonetheless, looking forward to our next visit. Well done & keep it up.

Looking at all the reviews I was doubtful but went anyway. Slow service? Well, I have been working myself as waiter in my past life and usually you assigned 4-6 tables per waiter they were handling 8 tables each, they were very cheerful and helpful although clearly overloaded. Considering all that I found them effective. Regarding the food, it was tasty and the pasta were al dente like it is suppose to be, so no complaints there either. The view is nice which makes it even better. So we had a good experience and enjoyed our time there.

Best on the harbour! Absolutely delicious food and great atmosphere. The staff were so friendly we had a great laugh especially Chris and Sam who were our waiters. Definitely recommend the seafood was delicious and so we're the pizzas! Hope to visit again!

The best restaurant on the island, Sottovento has continuously provided not only excellent food, but the welcoming service by Karl,Mirela, Chris and the rest of the staff have always been nothing less that perfect..This is the only restaurant that not only welcomes you to a restaurant, but to their home…

Very nice place!The food was amazing, trued the Lobster Pasta.We also tried a red wine that was recommended and it was really good.The terrace with the view of the marina is amazing.

Best meal I’ve had in Malta - veg friendly. Beautiful views of the harbor. Good service - good prices. Fresh ingredients and generous portions. Couldn’t be happier!!!!!

My favourite restaurant in the area. It has been my go to restaurant since I was introduced to it some years back. The food is excellent, the staff very welcoming. The location perfect and quite nice in the evening.

Didnttry the food but the service was perfect, these guys were born with smiles on their faces! Very reasonable prices for the location, didn't want to leave. Keep it up!
